There are quite a few clubs that wear regalia, which are full of ex cops, firemen, defence force types.
Not sure how they are going to be effected. I was in Patriots for a while.
The general public often don't differentiate between good guys wearing patched and bad guys wearing patches.
It's going to be interesting.
Members of the Dainese bike club were arrested in a clampdown on on farts riding fast on backroads, the world is now a safer place

True, and not just the general public. There was the guy hiding out in the bush on the run from the cops. He saw a gathering of patched bikers and thought he could score some dope but it was the Patriots. He lucked out there.
Some years back the local BMW owners were out and about and pulled in to Foxton. A Police car came past and then came past again - and again. One of the BMW owners flagged the car down and showed them his ID and the car went away. Apparently the Police can't distinguish BMWs and their owners from gang members and their Harleys either.

Good guys, bad guys, dressing the same is all a bit gay isn't it?
I see that some of them sew achievement badges on their jackets like the girl guides.
Ulysses club has a large patch and also an embossed leather jacket in their catalogue of guff. It has always had zero appeal to me and very very few of the members would wear it . However it does seem to be the guys on harlees and indians who do wear a patch. One of our local Indian riding guys has a leather jacket embossed with an almost full back logo. He has stopped wearing it as he had too many unsavoury experiences with gang members.
Wonder if it will apply to the Tu Tangata guys also? Cos if it doesn't, that might not go down well either
I feel sorry for the cops having to uphold this. At a gang funeral? Nah, the cops will have to do what they usually do and watch from a distance
Only a Rat can win a Rat Race!
Then there are the god squad patched clubs - I don't think they meet the definition of criminal organisations
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Is this gangsta or just nah?
With my serious hat on I suspect like others that most of the public are unaware as well so all they see are a gang of riders with patches.
I bet Doris in her Yaris shits herself when a group of patched riders overtake and pull in front of her, whether they are the Hells Mongols Mob or Ulysses.
