Oh yeah, some thoughts. People gear these up. I don't understand why.
At 6500 you are doing 75% of a pretty low redline so it's not like it's being thrashed.
You are indicating 110 (but probably close to 100). Thing is it feels like, more and not frustrating. Guess if your buddies have KTM890s it might be a thing, but how fast do you want to go on semi knobblies?

Gearing it up would make picking around on a trail potentially more difficult, and wound acceleration in taller gears.

You can take you hand off and pinch the grip with your fingers. No vibration. Try that on your DR650!

Decided to book some spring for the forks and send both ends too MotoSR in July when it's really cold.

He reckons he's got 3 to do in next week's.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Well out with this old thing (pic 1)

This should stiffen things up a bit (pic 2)

Later in week I'll slip the bike forwards & get the forks out. Geez getting to this stage took me 3 hours. Ok I had to make the support strut, but it is a lot more complex than a 110kg Dirtbike, or even Sportsbikes somehow. Guess its doing both sides at same time gets hard.
