Thanks for letting us know, strangely enough he was the guy who nearly put me off going racing by being a grumpy old cunt at scrutineering at the first meeting I did, in later years he did a few jobs rebuilding a GSXR1000, BSA A10 and my short stroke bucket motor while he was in Hororata, he came to see me in hospital when I smashed myself up in 2018 because he saw my name on the door while he was in the same ward, I hadn't seen him much after his move in the last few years

I'll be sorry to see him go

    RIP to a good man

Greg was a good broke. He did the cam timing on my cousin's Post Classic not along time ago. My cousin said it had ever run as good before as it did after Greg timed it. He did that out of the kindness of his heart basically. A lot of good information has left the building.

Sad news. I never met him but his posts here were sensible. I'm assuming he was getting on a bit and his posts were an accurate reflection of who he was. He'll be missed.

A good buggar through and through

I got the email this morning.
I am going to really miss Greg.
Such a wealth of practical knowledge and experience. But more than willing to share it.
He also knew who to ask and talk to if I needed something odd, or who would be able to help, or just to tell me I was just doing something potentially dumb which was pretty often.
He came out to see me when we were at Ruapuna a while back hell it would have to be 9 months ago to show me what he had done with a StarMaker engine I gave him.
talented dude. Who would go out of his way to help others
    Gone far too soon.

I have meet some really great people through KB, Greg was easily one of the best.
Well Greg? Now who is going to tell me to clear my Mailbox now when its full?

Ah shit, that's terrible news. We'd had quite a bit of comms online about various projects. Seemed to keep a passion till the end.

    RIP dude.

I did not know him personally, his last post was in the Infamous thread in Rant and Rave.

I enjoyed our discussions when he chimed in.

The world is made a little less bright by his passing. To those who knew him, my sincere Condolences.

Just by chance I logged in today (after about 3 years!) and I am sad to hear this news. Although I never actually met him in person, I have had many online discussions with him here and I always felt priviledged to be able to talk with him (and many others) online - I have often wondered how he was doing.
Please pass on my condolances to his family ........ a good guy!
