Visiting NZ

Hi all biker friends. Planning to visit NZ coming nov-jan 2025/26. What's your thoughts, renting or buying? Can see that's it is rather expensive to rent for that long...
And suggestions of routes?
Leif from Sweden, at home riding a Triumph Tiger Explorer Pro 1200- 22 and a Harley Street Glide -14. Been riding for more then 50 years..now retired fire fighter so time is not an issue...

You might be better off searching other peoples, similar, enquiries and see the advice they got etc. Also you will have no problem finding a good route but it will depend on what you are wanting to see and how adventurous you want to get. Personally, I think you cant go wrong heading down to Invercargill when the Burt Munro rally is on. Lots to do in that area at that time of year…
what kind of bike do you need? Two up or solo? And in a group or just you?

I will travel solo and at home I ride a Triumph Tiger 1200 and a HD Street Glide (not at the same time but I guess more or less anything will do it..
