He had a fairly nice range of speakers variable as of a few weeks ago. You can see some of the stereo equipment in the background in photo 2 shown at the link below. most of the dealers here have tradein stuff sort of on the basis that if they have sold it they will stand by it, and there are a couple of dealers in it as well. One's in Methven and the other in town..... thanks for the tip though. Plus Hot Dogs are breakfast of champions.

Deceptively so, and more effective for lower frequencies. My triple cone tower speakers don't 'feel' loud, until you try and converse with the person beside you.

    Bigger speakers are better speakers.

Don't know what speaker snobbery level you reside at, but might be worth risking sexual assault.. https://www.facebook.com/share/1Xz1hvLDiX/

Work colleague was redecorating his lounge so gave me a Wharfedale set like that including the glass topped sub, plus a Pioneer home theatre amp. Good and loud.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Not sure where we are at as I was speed reading. It's like normal reading but without the comprehension.

I picked up speakers. I used to have Vifa towers. My friend said the only time he has had concert deafness was after a night drinking at my place. We'd do it every 3 months or so. How the neighbours never complained ill never know as the sessions went till 2 or 3.

Weirdly the new lad at work casual conversation used to live at my old house.

Oh and the first time I heard Breakfast of champions was after a night drinking camping at a race track and Bacon and Eggs was on the bbq in the morning. Used it ever since.

TM earns the majority of income from Motors and Property, then jobs I think.
They certainly don't care about some random bloke selling one item.

That said, last week I picked up a particular model of mobile, new in box for a fair price. Deal was done within a day from offer, to bank details and payment.

I was lucky to have a pair of Tamon 808 speakers when a young teen, they had two mid range speakers to keep up with the 15" bass! Had em hooked up to a Yamaha Amp and A turntable and that was my stereo. The speakers were very heavy. Unfortunately the rubber ended up perishing around the cones and I never got them fixed - doh.

indeed. grandkids have discovered vinyl, even though they dont have a stereo with a turntable - they are buying LPs for the cover artwork (!) so I bought a new stylus for a Sanyo turntable I had, a basic pre-amp from Jaycar, and introduced them to the magic of 33 1/3. The system is located in a granny flat out the back of the house so the upper levels can be explored.

I bought a new stylus for my turntable, but I haven't fitted it yet, the short people who inhabit my house made a play for the lounge and seen to have won some years back, with enough jumping up and down in front of you-tv-tube , I dare not play any record and have largely been driven from the area. Almost my height by now.

My speaker system dates back to the 1960s. There are two sets of Akai cabinets, one has 12" 7" and 3" speakers approx. The other has 10s and 2s. Much of the music they play now is the same as when they were new.

I am excited today because JB Hi Fi have let me know that my preorder of the repress of Shihad's Killjoy album can be picked up. I do hope the neighbours will be enjoying it this afternoons... SWMBO is out so no complaints!

I just received a personalized, AI generated list from Trade Me of items that I might be interested in. The list comprises a pair of Triumph Thruxton shocks, an R Nine T front fork, and various other motorcycle parts - all from models I've never owned. There's also a couple of adventure tyres thrown in in sizes that'll fit none of my bikes.

I'm sure you can be comforted in the fact that there will be legions of Fiord drivers getting Stillholdingtogether parts aimed at them. Probably Muslims being offered Christmas inspirational tea towels and whatnot.

I have 3 bikes, and in a show of brilliant planning, none of the tyres are the same... that way, so many tyres become options! I also have to keep 6 spare tyres to make sure I have what I need, when I need it.
