The focus is clearly on how people get caught.

This is a self-defence mechanism used by those seeking to divert attention from the fact that they got caught.

All this discussion about how people get caught rather than that fact that they got caught is spurious.

If people didn't exceed speed limits, there would be no speed cameras.

    So there.

Just turned 60. Growing old is mandatory. Not so, growing up.

Saw a cop car 90° just before the Takanini exit (so not after) northbound last weekend, if it helps.

Before the exit is probably even worse! I used to see a cop car parked on the side of the SW motorway, just over the brow of a rise so you couldn't see it. But they converted the shoulder to a bus only lane which stopped that.

ooooops found this which is presumably what you are talking about (better search terms yield better results!)

    my favourite parts are:

WorkSafe’s charges against police have been discontinued.

    and

Jevon McSkimming said the safety of the community is at the heart of everything the force does.

    The crash happened in 2021.

I still think that speed limits are guidelines for the weak minded. Drive to your ability and to the conditions, it ain't (or should not be) difficult.

Here is a small video of my favourite racing car to cheer you all up.

if i have the spot located correctly it looks like it is a motorway. Why was it parked on a motorway. Google maps decribe it as a motorway
