They may of had to make it that long to stop the front wheel from hitting the radiator on full compression. The LC I rode had a very light feeling front end with not much feeling. I like the weight layout of the Air-cool RD's and later RZ's better.Originally Posted by F5 Dave

I was impressed difference of late vs early RZ.
Lower bars and frame mounted fairings must have done it.
With correct tyres and all bearings including swingarm linkage L brackets, the RZ handled great at lower speeds.
