    Korea MC Scene

So what's the Korean riding scene like anyway? Getting better every year...

Here is a short video I shot of the Korean MC show held in Daegu last year. Race bikes, racey race girls, and some stunts.

    Enjoy!

    Nice, very very nice
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    Racing Scene

Ok, ok. Here are a few pics of the racing scene.

With only a couple of smallish tracks in Korea, and a fight between clubs, there is really only one track for a motorcycle road racing series; Taebaek circuit nestled amongst the mountains in Gangwon province.
So there are 5 race meetings held once a month starting in May. 25-odd laps, all same track, same direction, pfff...
Still, it's a pretty big spectacle and the racing girls add to the excitement.

Korea - those Hyo 650Rs, are they racing in their own class or with the Jap bikes too? How well do they do?

Do you really want to see more of that stuff? It's good practice, but I admit it isn't REAL road riding~ I'm still slow~

    Hey Skelstar,

I haven't seen any 650R racing yet, maybe next year. They'll have a class of their own I guess. There's a class for 125 Hyosung Exiv's, 125 Daelims, CBR125's, 600's, BMW's, 1000's and an open-class race. It makes for a long day of racing.

    Cool to see you've got a 250GT - did you know there's a twin-disc kit for it?
