Looks like I owe an apology to all members regarding the ethinicity issue, for all purposed forthwith, please substatute "ethnic" with "arseholizatedfuckstainingretardedgimppigfucker". Once again in future I will show a little more respect to those who would endanger my and our fellow KB'ers lifes with the totaly ignorant way they conduct themselveson the roads......

The best sounding horn I have heard was on an MX5 we used to have. It wasn't too big either. Any suggestions? Cheers John.
Had a Chrysler Neon in yesterday,a small Corolla sized car,and it had a horn that sounded like a big old Chrysler from the 50s,sounded all out of proportion to it's size,I was impressed.

A further side track - we did a clutch on it,the clutch comes complete with flywheel,it's all riveted together...$1800 for a clutch job.Clutch hydraulics the same, all one piece - master cyl, slave cyl and hoses.

Best defence is the right wrist, avoid the blows, like Bruce Lee!

Agree that the 'ethnic' bit in the post was unnecessary, however you believe the statistics weigh, don't generalize, please (same goes for individual 'ethnic' peeps who think I'd generalize them, which is just as bad a fuckin generalization, generally).

I want air horns too.. had them on every car I've ever owned (ok, only two) but they definitely get people's attention...

where do you buy air horns and how does one hook them up to a bike? I want to get this underway asap

You have to ride/drive defensive in Auckland. If your starting to second guess yourself take a few weeks off. As long as your not riding to get killed you should be ok, new family makes you change your thinking, many a friend has bugged me with “I wish I hadn’t sold my bike” so if you can afford it keep ya bike till your feeling better do that ...

So gost any verdict yet about what traffic situation?? As in who was in the wrong so to speak? As far as i can imagine it's pretty vauge. i'm inclined to say your in the right tho it is hard to say such a thing when few fact are stated.
However what have the insurrance companys done about the ordeal?
