Kaiawa Rd Warning

Did the Clevedon/Kawakawa Bay through to Kaiawa(sp?)/Miranda ride this afternoon.
The Orere Pt Rd has a couple of patches of melted tar on the tighter corners and the occasional little slip across the road.
They are doing road works between Miranda and Kaiawa, as in, total rip up and re-surfacing of the straights just out of Kaiawa, and it looks like they might be starting on the other (Orere Pt) side as well.
Might pay to give this road a miss on the weekends for a while as the traffic flow will be down to 10kph.
