Just watched some dumbarse being pulled up outside work. The dick had a three seater couch on the roof of his car - attached only with a peice of string WTF?! Wont be the only thing he's gonna get done for, at least 7 people piled out of the car when the cops stopped them, the car is only a three door.....
I just don't get some people, I mean really how did they not expect to get pulled over driving through a busy Wellington street at 9 in the morning?! Not to mention the damage it could have caused to people on the road if it had come flying of, which seemed ineviteble (sp?)?!

see they could have solved the whole problem by getting three of the people in the car to sit on the sofa on the roof.

Their weight would have made it fairly secure and would have been nice and cool.

hehe, then it would have been more likely that they would have hurt themselves instead of some innocent party.

Better idea - three or four of them should have CARRIED the couch! Bet the driver is wishing they had now.....

Alright so these idiots have just come back to get the couch. Funny thing is that they turned up with a station wagon this time and with only 2 passengers, go figure?!

You'd need to check the compliance regulations relating to frontal impact on the sofa too, it might need at least a driver's airbag. Or perhaps the airbag was driving the car?
