Probably gonna get slated for this but the majority of people just can't seem to drive.

Either young boy racers tearing up and down in cars with no bumpers, or old people who don't know how to drive... 4x4s that just can't see where they or anyone else is going... bus drivers that pull out and don't care if they hit anyone... taxi drivers that don't know where they're going and make random movements all over the place.

Fact of the matter is that if you're one of the above then you probably think your driving is great.. it's all subjective.

The way I look at it is that as soon as you get in a car, bus, bike, taxi, truck etc.. you are taking your life in your hands and the worst may happen.

In the immortal words of Frank Drebbin... 'You take a chance getting
up in the morning, crossing the street or sticking your face in a fan!'

That's sick. One of the few occasions where the Internet actually has me laughing out loud.

I wont add much more here because there have been some great opinions aired, thanks guys.

But I'd like to clarify that

    a) I never ever ever thought it would be Mr SpeedMedic going the other way.

    b) I have absolutely no problem with the cop giving me a warning. He was a top bloke about it, really polite, friendly and acknowledge that I wasn't driving like a cunt, just that it was quick and had been reported.

    c) I was not doing earth shattering speeds, lets just say it was around the british dollar. Not real quick on an empty motorway.

    d) The ambo's have a tough job to do, a lot of respect for them. Filling speeding quotas aint it. I don't tell the fuckin architects how to design buildings I just do my fuckin job.

Ok it may not have been cyclists who caused that accident on that bike run we were all on heading to Pinkhoggirls BBQ.
Sure they were there at the scene... but so was the ambo.

They may have been offering help after the accident until the ambo got there.

We all came along after the incident...
So lets NOT assume that the cyclists caused this acident.

Well, I just hope you have more fun on your bike Dover.

I think those dickhead narks should pull their finger out of their arse and try enjoying life like most riders do.

Don't get angry with the ambo man, cause it wouldn't matter what he was in, he would still dob you in. He probably saw the nice young woman on the back and was pissed off.

    Good point!
Speaking to my neighbour on highway 16 a while back;he commented on how all the bikes tear past at 100+ mph, funny I thought,I note all the bikes that go past my living room window and few are doing more than 120 kph
