yeh coz that would explain why he slowed down just after.... plus there was traffic around, if he was in a hurry he shoulda had his lights on.

Beg to differ! I covered the Rally of NZ for years and believe me, the shots I have of the top European drivers are incredible. I've also got shots of trucks that slid off the track and ended up in the kitty litter only a few feet in front of where I HAD been standing - moral of the story is, be aware and be ready to move bloody quickly if it all turns pear shaped!Yeah, but I'll bet you don't have any photos as exciting as a Porchse sliding sideways towards your lens, at speed, only 3 feet infront of you!.
I don't blame the driver in this instance, nor in any instances where a spectator puts themself in a position of danger. He's just bloody lucky he wasn't killed.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
