PBS DYNO CONFIRMATION

As spoken about in the dyno results thread (by Lou G) by the southern members of KB the dyno that was at PBS in CHCH has been brought by BP at Honda Country Ashburton.
The Dynotek 200i is now living in its new home, though currently disassembled. it should be up & running in the next few weeks apparently. And according to word of mouth there shall be Dyno days ( similar to Red Baron) and also be taken to track day events ( most likely Levels raceway & Ruapuna) on occasion. maybe something to do with the connection with John Hepburn ?

P.S. I'm a happy kid, some of my parts arrived today for the ZXR so hehe the chassis is going back together over the weekend. next is the bodywork & the head is off to HPE in CHCH yippee! i'll pull more GGs out the bitch yet!

Thanks for that. PBS was good because I used to tell him what runs I wanted done and he did them for me, then I could grab the runfile for later. Also, was really cheap and a few hundred yards down the road

I'm getting to the stage with my 600 project that in the next year or two I'm going to need regular access to one. It really would be good to have one readily available in chch again - pitty I cant talk the polytech or uni into getting one for educational purposes

Also, does anyone know if anyone has access to a flow bench. Currently I'm modding a cylinder head by hand, but I would at some stage like to run it up to see if my ideas are working or not - especially in the area of inlet tracts.

There is a flow bench at the uni, dunno if they let access to it by general public though,you'd have to contact the school of engineering & check. I'm sure DENCO engineering would have one. PH 381 2111. If they haven't they'd definately know where one was.
also i'd say BP will charge around the same as PBS for runs on the dyno too.

Get "Practical gas flow" by John Dalton and build one. I also have some plans in my archives - remind me in daylight and I will dig them out.
