[RANT]

Now im not a cop basher but for some reason this **little** thing got on my nerves...

as i was riding home i was coasting along at 51kmh (gave it a blip up to 58kmh so i could adjust my jacket)

a cop (community watch maybe) came around the roundabout, going the opposite direction to me, and 'observed' me until i was about 50m from the interesection.

I watched her look at my bike (number plate) and then continue to watch my actions until i went out of view.

Its shit like this that makes me feel guilty for no reason what so ever and basically felt intimidated - being watched like a crim when i was doin nothing wrong what so ever.

Giving them the benefit of the doubt maybe they were looking for a bike that had done a runner earlier or been knicked or something, and were just checking to make sure yours wasn't the one.

Otherwise it could be because we're all murderous scoundrels out to destroy society as they want to know it.

really wouldn't worry about it. The amount of times I've filtered thru at the lights, just to have a cop in the que catch my plate and run it in.. Just let it pass, they're doing their job. If you haven't got anything to worry about, don't worry. Just get over it and on with it. Now you have to learn how to wheelie past them..

Remember cops are only human, have you ever been caught out "staring" at someone, when in reality you weren't actually looking at anything....

doesn't get you very far.. with most of them.. their handcuffs are very handy tho..

Sorry Gareth.... but as I am the "official decoy" I wasnt out and about on my bike today... Well ok I only went up to my local Foodtown and back home.

Hell, I had 5 of them yesterday.. and two were biker cops.... and they were both together.. One waved to me as I past them coming out of someones section. They stayed behind me until they turned off. I was heading up towards Diary Flats from Albany... they both turned off to head over to Kaukapakapa....
One was a nice red van with a camera in it.

I am doing my utmost to round them all up... but I just can't be everywhere...
