Looks OK, the rear grab rail is an interesting touch. Fitting Ohlins rear shock to a Hyosung! Why not just buy an SV650 to start with, seems OK for the money!

Did you check others on the interwebby thingy? See at least one with new bike warranty for $7500 with only 299k on the clock

I may have my wires crossed, but isn't Hyosung backed by Kawasaki NZ?. They seem like a good bike, pretty impressive for the money I think.

I've ridden an SV and the suspension is "average", somewhat similar to my TRX before I sorted it. For the price differential between a GT650 and an SV you could create something with slightly more HP and massively better suspension.

    IT wasnt for me anyhow

My Mate ended up buying it for 6700$ its 2004 and done 16000kms, still under warrantee, custom pipes and mufflers, finished in highly polished stainless, custom stainless grab rail, the ohlins shock ( from hawera mcycles ) also it had a steering damper

It actually was fun to ride, until i got up to about 130 and i was like - where the fuck is the fairing when u need it, very nice sound and with the custom ford falcon blue it looks a lot different than stock, I believe Kawasaki do have something to do with hyosung, i heard a rumor the engines were kwaka designed

Was fun to ride, but i really appreciate my zx9r now, sooo much more poke and a lot more comfortable at speed with the fairing to hide behind

For the money he couldn't really get much else that was this new or in mint condition like this, i reckon he got an alright deal

I reckon he got a good deal too. Personally I probably wouldn't go there because of the lack of a fairing, but with that Ohlins rear shock, it could well be a better ride than the SV it's always compared to. Presumably you'd need to upgrade the fork internals to match though.
