Dawnrasor I appreciate your concern, however there are certain rules the forum works on with regards to layout... We cant just put a thread in GB because you feel its the most poular forum.

I am not feeling very well, and will write more later today.

If you organised the event or were DIRECTLY involved then you can make some general comments to reassure others. E.g: "We had a bit of an off today, I'll let the person concerned (no names necessary) fill you in when he/she is up to it."

It is only up to the person who crashed and their fly to go into details => Thier life, their bike, their business.

Hey, who has hijacked JSG's account?

yes as i wondered if inline4 had wanted his accident to be knowen, well at least, till he was aware of the degree of injury he had incuded, however posted well wishes as the rest of the family had done, however, somethings are wanted to be keeped quiet, personal choice , however sometimes this is taking away by friend's thinking they have your best wish's at heart

My 2 cents - I think people on KB should remember that accidents bring up strong emotions from both the people involved and their families - people should respect peoples privacy and their families space in a time when things can be very trying (There have been times when people have passed away when members of KB have really put the foot in it). Yes you might be close to the person and be very concerned, but 95% of us wont be in the family "circle" so to speak.

Yes support and well wishes are great (and can be very helpfull), but I feel there is a time and place for everything.

When Stonechucker was taken to hospital - his Mum was inundated by phone calls etc when she did not even know if he would make it or not, it was a bombardment that could have waited for a few hours or a day or so...

People should pace themselves and keep the word "respect" in mind.
