    Petrol Price watch

    kinda like this

    http://calum.org/petrol/map/showstat....6754150390625
    or
    http://www.thisisthenortheast.co.uk/...ch/prices.html

of course thats for england or something. but apparently oil is down to the lowest point per barrell in months.

Im thinking of starting one up for NZ and just running it on my server (unless spankme wants to come to the party) I dont have enough php programming or experience with the google API to really make it worthwhile unfortuantly, but Ive emailed those guys to ask if I can blatently rip off their stuff.

still, it begs the question. would you drive a further 10mins to get 1 or 2c cheaper per Litre petrol.

edit. just had another thought, this could incorporate the road condition updates really nicely
I only posted this because of the global economic crisis

Remember to never split an infinitive. The passive voice should never be used. Do not put statements in the negative form. Proofread carefully to see if you words out. And don't start a sentence with a conjugation. (William Safire)

Maybe, sometimes if I can be fucked I'll drive to Albany and get a 4c discount from Gull for shopping at countdown. Probably defeats the point if I have to drive further to get petrol. If I'm in the area then yes, but otherwise no.

It's not that far, Hillcrest (just up from birkenhead) ---> Albany
