It was indeed. And could pump out very respectable hp figures if warmed. But does this mean that Mr 318 is trying to tell us he has a hemispherical head ? Must be hard to get helmets to fit.

The 318 was Chrysler's small block,we got the in Valiants and some yank tanks,a real nice runner.

283 is the first Chev, well it was 265 I think, but we got the 283 right through into the late 60s.All our Yank tanks came from Canada and were Canadian hybrid, not American. In 1967 you could walk into Schofields and walk out with a brand new Impala.

302 was a pretty common mid range size of Fords small motor, started out as a 260.

Dunno what 318 means to our new member, but it means smoking up a 69 Regal on crossply tyres to me.....

great place to post bullshit and get the all important post count up, soon to be forced from its peacefull resting place in General Biker Ravings to New member speak where it will live out its days in obscurity. Unless Indy jumps in and it gets moved to pointless drivel.

    oh yeah. and welcome 318
Yep, agree, trying to get to moped rider (why? I ask myself). Bloody TL Riders got to Hardcore already, obviously not cleaning my bike enough (you missed a spot, start again).

Perfection is not something you should ever attain, but something to always strive for. For if we actually achieve our idea of perfection, is it then any longer perfect?
