Life is difficult because it is non-linear.
That's rather weird really...must be an extremely hard rear...or you've got it at 70psi or somrthing.Originally Posted by ducatilover
With 101hp at rear wheel I don't think I can make Pilot Powers or Sports spin up...what's the brand and model of your rear?

i have some dunlops on my ZX9R - they are great in the dry, apart from they skid a little if you jump on the throttle when you are in footpeg scraping territory , they are absolute crap in the wet, cant put the power down coming out of a corner or the back just breaks loose and gets sideways, which is only fun for about .000005 of a second , even taking off from the lights in the wet, if you feed it a bit of throttle it will spin, its a total whore to ride in the wet.
Ive had pilot powers on my old gixxer 400 and they were quite good, but i found them to be really soft and wear quickly ? that was about 3-4 years ago, have they improved on the wear side of things ?
Dont buy the dunslops , and can someone tell me some good tyres for my zx9

Have you taken your bike over any sweet jumps?
I thought that Pilot Powers were only released in the past couple of years? If so, it was probably the Pilot Race you had...I get decent mileage out of Powers, for the grip they provide.Originally Posted by Mattyc
