At least I can still ride my bike... but very carefully trying not to use the front brakes... The back brakes are fine.... but I prefer to have a good set on both... so unless they show up tomorrow morning, then I am not going anywhere far.......

Name them i say !!! i was in the market for a bike a wee while ago and i have to Say both Sarge at Colemans and Mike and Callum from mt eden were sooo helpful and friendly, i didnt end up buying a bike from them cause they didnt have the bike i was looking for at the time, but i would go back there as a first stop next time.

I visited a lot of shops and must admit if a sales person didnt talk to me within about 2 mins, id just walk out.

Well, I'd suspect AMPS is one of them.

Went in there today, my third visit in the last year or so, and got the treatment I expected. Salesmen sitting yapping to each other and not acknowledging me (or my companion) at all. I don't expect to be harassed but I do expect to be approached and asked if I require any assistance. Or did I not look like I was gonna spend enough money for their taste?

No offence to Big Dave or Lou who I know are associated with the aformentioned establishment but I've got to give it to your salesmen. They're pretty fuckin useless and this was their third chance to impress me!

Oh well, if I wanted to shell out on a Sprint ST then I guess Aucklands other Trumpet dealer would be seeing my ugly mug and bank details.

Yeah, but I'd have to wait until they actually get to these shores. The fuckin sail boat from Japan is a bit slow with the new machinery!! I'd have to check them out though!!
