YAY, Finally I've got a bike

Well, after lot of hasles and pissing around I finally found a bike a lot closer to home and for a lot better price.
It is a 1985 Honda VF400 has done about 41000 km's and is in mint condition. It has never been binned, the owner before the guy I got it off had it for 8 years and it was his wifes bike (his wife was 65 when they sold it) and only did 3.5k in the 8 years. All sweet except it will not idle very well so I will get it tuned and serviced in the next couple of weeks. Took it for a ride at 8 tonight and got machine gunned by all of the bugs in the air but it goes really well. Fully stoked!!!

Congrats on the new ride. A good thrash might sort out a few of the problems.

It had been advertised at one time for $2k but I got if for mates rates so all I had to pay was a bit of cash an Xbox and a fair few games, but I would rather be riding in real life than doing it on a TV!!

Thanks for all of the love guys!!! I took it in for a warrant today and everything was fine apart from the switch for the rear brake light, the warrant guy was good enough to show me how to tighten it and went and got some CRC and we had it working in about 2 minutes, great guy and really freindly even after I accidently head butted him!!! On road Sockburn is the best testing station I have ever been to and it was only $25. I suppose now I can go on the ashley gorge ride tomorrow.
