SLOW AKL Ride: 10am Saturday 5th Nov

Hey peoples,

I would like to see heaps of learners at this ride. Come out and join in.

Looking at meeting Shell Westgate, along to swanson, through a backroad to scenic drive. Hit Titirangi and head to Huia.

This is going to be a slow ride. Others are welcome too.

Meet: 9:30am Shell Westgate.
Leave 10am sharp.

This is not a long ride, so we shouldn't need to stop for fuel. Estimate about 1.5-2hr ride. Go at your own pace, and there will be stops so no one is lost if the area is new to you.

Come along L-Plate & 250 folk.

Mind if someone on thier full shows up? I'm slow I swear...

And was planing to do Scenic drive anyway, be nicer to go in a group of others that might actually know where they are going.

Wish I could join ya, but picking up parts to get the ZXR back up and going.

I might turn up but i'll probably end up going too quick. Ah what the hell if any of you other buggers (gareth/strat/pyro etc) turn up we'll just have a seperate pack up the front and await the slower guys/gals at the intersections.

But 150s are not invited. 250s only RAH!!
And I don't think I shud break the ride rule and come, 2smoke can cause headaches and dizzy spells to those following.

150 two smoker counts as equal to 250 (or 400) four stroke. Go .

What the rg150 don't have on the zxr in top speed (180 vs 200ish) it will make up in the corners. If Strat and I were racers equal in the field I would not want to face his bike in the twisties, no siree.

Probably gonna have pillion for it so yea.... Nothing too fast from me. Wouldn't be surprised if I end up in back.

I was taking the mickey Ringading leader, I think under motorsport rules you multiply cc by 1.7 or something for 2 strokes. which makes it 255 - out again!!
Will see how weather goes, and how shagged I am. Going up to Kai Iwi the same day
