    Mystery hose

Hi, was cleaning my bike(FXR150) and just notice a hose that wasn't attached to anything on either end, its just kinda hanging there. Being new to this whole which bit of my bike attaches to what i'm just wondering if its suppose to be like that(it wasn't hang out like that i just pulled it out for the photo) or its suppose to be attached to sumthing? Its definitly not the fuel run off hose i've check that already. Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

Looks like it might be a battery drain off hose. Is the battery on your bike anywhere near where you found the hose?

If its about 8mm in diameter then its definately your battery breather pipe (it should be plumbed down by the swingarm somewhere, should actually be a couple of guides to thread it through)

it's either a bettery hose or could be a rain water drain fitted to the fuel tank, you would need to lift off the tank to check that.

With a bit of luck it is a drainage hose as others have posted, but do check to see if it is a vacuum hose for the tank switch diaphram or vacuum advancing hose for the carbies.
