    Looking at that piccy....you weren't.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

go for a couple of proper rides, they'll be gone in a week or two. better to take it easy than do a Dover.

Pity the bike is nearly upright in that photo, obviously wasn't naturally leaning that day

If everyone was honest most of us would admit that we started off with chicken strips. I still have em, but they are shrinking and any day soon (if the weather settles) sould disappear completely, like yours I'm sure.

it comes with time! it isn't how far you lean over while in a corner its the getting to the corner & the punch out of it on to the next one! it doesn't have to be a case of beaded edges which in reality is only achieveable on the very best of roads or race track.

the tyre is a Pirelli Dragon Corsa totally munted in 3000ks from driving hard out of corners!

Darn. I have the burnout/commuting flat centre after 13,000+ kms on hard tyres. My Left hand side has worn much more than the right (steeper profile) as well which goes against the usual road camber argument. Must be all the time I spent on 'carpark tracks'.

The most interesting thing is that my front has worn more off the sides than the commuter middle strip, where as my rear always wore the centre quick as (without burnouts). Says something about my gentle on the throttle riding style then eh. Too much loading up front in corners is going to get me one day...

Just last night I got my chicken strips down to about 2 millimetres. So close, yet so far...

And then I had to ride through messy bloody road works which chucked crap all over the back wheel which makes it almost impossible to see my carefully scuffed marks now... bugger... of course, i could just clean the bike, but shit, that's stupid!
