No mate, your not getting your vision back because of that other thing that you do that your mother always told you would make you go blind.

As an aside, who's had a gutsfull of Guy Fawkes?
I was dead set against banning private sales, but after 2 weeks (and counting) of mindless fuckwits letting the Goddamn things off till 10 or 11 at night, I'm thoroughly over it.

Yep. Had it 'round our way for well over a week now and if last year is anything to go by it will carry on for ages. One night would be fine but f@#k me, this starts getting into the realms of sleep deprivation!

It'd be the perfect night to shoot someone though wouldn't it?

You could just take 'em out with a rifle any old time - no-one would even question it...

    Me two.
But I don't want three weeks of it starting at 6.00AM and continuing till 10.00PM If people don't want it banned they should try a little moderation and common sense.

It's a really small fireworks dispenser. That's it. Like a little rocket.

Some guy in England did that years ago. Wanted to do a disappearing act, so he picked up a tramp on Guy Fwkes night, killed him, left him in the drivers seat of his Morris 8, loosened off the petrol union at the carby, and set fire to the car. Theory was , the fireworks would cover the noise of the killing, people would just assume the burning car was a bonfire until it was completely burnt out and everybody would think the body (unrecognisable after the fire) was his (no DNA stuff in those days), and he'd collect insurance and disappear with girlfriend (summut like that anyways).

Didn't work some clever dick forensic scientist proved that the union was undone before the fire with a spanner. He was hanged.

One way to do this - cut sales to 3 days, thursday, friday and saturday (or whatever the three days leading up to gay fawkes are) and then make it over 18 or 21 or whatever. Would be circumvented same way as the alcohol ban but would cut down on the amount of younger pyromaniancs a little. I got taught to muck around with fireworks at a very young age by my uncle, but was taught where the limits are and what not to do. Some of the things I do may look dangerous to others but I have been doing it for a while and have learnt what you can and can't get away with safely.
