Ummmmm, Dave me old china, in a few years when the novelty of owning such a strange bike, can I hava go? Please? Promise I'll be really nice to it.

I would bother AMPs but I've no intention of buying one and don't wanna waste their valuable time.

I'm gunna ask for their demo and put Stretch on it for the KR photo shoot - orange is better for publication pics - I'll give you a shout - and perhaps when the novelty wears off....it really goes just like a lightning but taller, plusher and has a few stone guards etc.

I'm too scared to ask. I think Jimmy banned me from test rides after me and Hitcher stole a Street Rod and a V-Rod.

I'm also not the quickest rider in Sport Bike land and about a month ago I got dialled in quite well and absolutely annihilated a couple of blokes on XB12Rs. Made me wonder if I would be happy with the trade off in versatility vs outright performance, but then I kinda want to keep my license and be more comfortable on a bike.

    I'm so confused.

Between the corners perhaps, or they couldn't ride, or they couldn't set them up or who cares?
It only has a factory 100hp. but the speed you can comfortably carry into the corners is quite remarkable. An R6 never made me grin like this thing does - nothing has since the Thunderbird. fuck hyperspeed.

It's also about the places it will take you

Says the master of doggie style.

I wouldn't be shy WT - take it for a spin and if you like it tell people - and one day you might be talking to someone who says i want a sports bike that i can ride on a bit of dirt....endorsements sell.

Actually it does look a bit like a tractor, but in a brutish/purposeful sort of way. I can't make up my mind wether it's ugly or not, but I prefer it to a Multistrada.

Have you tried the dreaded commute on it yet?

Nah - my studio is in my home - it's 8 steps to work - but I have ridden at peak hour - so skinny and torquey it's a delight.

I prefer the Kinetic GF170 to a Multistrada. Sat on an XB12X at lunchtime. I'm too short when the bike's at rest, but that should go away when riding the thing.

Also sat on a Yamaha XT660X at lunchtime. Veeeery nice. Can see myself backing it into the hairpins on Dowse Dr. Seat's a plank though. Sat on it for two minutes and they offered me Barry's piles cushion. Naturally I turned it down.

Do what I did and just 'add' it to the collection - it's only repayments - I figure i'll just work harder.

Now that is a thought worthy of consideration. I wonder how much I can get for the kids?
