    Myvice crash!!

Just a note from Mrs Myvice to say thanks to all the guys (and girls) who helped my hubby out today. He's out of hospital and pretty groggy. Pretty bad concussion and a lacerated top lip but otherwise okay!!
Poor bugger doesn't remember a hell of a lot so anyone who actually witnessed the crash would be a great help to us at the moment, he keeps going on about turkeys!!
Anyway thanks again to Mac who rang me and Quasi for looking after the bandit, glad he was with responsible riders.

He was bloody lucky. Talk to alex / salex on the site he was right behing and witnessed it all. I wasn't to far behind. He was really groggy when we got to him but started to get more coherrant by the time mac got there...

As for the turky's well there was this turkey on the inside sholder of the road, only he will know why he locked up but when in doubt blame the turkey..

As for his bike it is safley in quasi's garage (big thanks to mrs pillion who rode it although quite nervous you did a stuner of a job) And all that seems wrong is damaged intrument panel, tank needs some work and either your front caliper or disk is bent.... If that ground hadn't been so soft i don't think your bike would have a front end......

Glad to hear all is ok and hopefully see you out there soon

    Hi Jaq,

Thanks for the update. I was riding further ahead of your husband today and a group of us were waiting for everyone else to arrive in Ngaruawahia but no-one came, then an ambulance passed us with it's lights flashing going back the way we had came so I assumed the worst and rode back to the accident site to see Myvice being escorted into the back of the ambo, looking very dazzed too...I was just relieved to see him walking, apparently he was catapulted quite high off the bike and over bushes down an embankment!

I wish him a speedy recovery and hope there are no serious injuries!

    Kind regards,

    Zed

Glad to hear he's okay - didnt witness the incident but wasnt too far behind. Carl ended up up a reasonable distance from the bike, might have the KB "long-jump" record for sometime...
As ive mentioned elsewhere, Mac did an awesome job making sure Carl was looked after whilst waiting for the ambo

Bike in amazingly good nick considering.
