Slight issue occuring when I load the forum. It tries to redirect to profile.php, then bounces back a 404 error.

If I edit the link and remove the profile.php it works, but next time, puts it back again.

My link points the main kiwibiker.co.nz page.

I have no time for small-minded folks who have to personalise an issue if they think they aren't "winning". Volume of abuse does not outweigh quality of argument.
Also People who use CAPS LOCK drive me mad. Surely they can be creative enough to not have to use CAPS.
The way I see if it they are using CAPS it means they are loosing a battle in what ever they are posting about.

E-mail update is still not working 100%. Only get it for "Site upgrade" and "Big Boys Toys" Threads, but there are always more Threads in my User CP that have new unread posts from the same time period. Have selected them all and chosen "Daily e-mail notification".

Smilies window now closes automatically once smilie is selected and post updated. It's a bit of a pain if you're a smilie user on dial-up (I have ADSL and even then it can take a while) cos it can take ages to open up that window and I often just leave it open for the duration of my visit each time. :spudbn:

Can we have it re-enabled please?

Thread subscription emails are working fine.

You will not receive a thread subscription email when it is set to daily update if you visit between the time the thread gets a new post and when the emails are sent. You more likely to receive an email if you set it to instant notification.

Well I've been away from the PC from 9pm Friday and have just got back to it this morning, and no e-mail update notices. Definitely unread posts in my User CP (5 threads with last posts ranging from Sat to Sun). So what's the guts? I'd say the e-mail update was not working

    The Scottish Thread

And a good job too... It provides a good outlet for such stuff...

Gone are the heady days of the scottish thread, but there's still a good lot of stuff that is being worked through there...

yes, sometimes it gets heated. But people like to be able to air their views and that thread is one that lets a lot of people sort that out...
