Nah - wrong, it's actually a very nice camera.Originally Posted by Badcat
It generally does a very good job. Sometimes I find the lens a bit short, some spectator areas jut aren't close enough to the action. The 28 equiv. wide is good. The motor drive, sorry, continuous shooting, is a little slower and has a too small buffer for what I'd like ideally. These are just nit-picks I guess.
What's your tool of trade, B.D. ?

I like "nX zoom" 2x is twice, 3x is thrice, 4x is four times etc.
The Fuji doesn't like low light stuff though, well neither does the Sony for that matter
Only been able to get a few good sunset/night shots.
The shot of Mars was using the Sony at 14x with a 2x optical adapter on top of that.
meh, like I said, just wankery. There are many people out there who take better pictures than me with cheaper cameras, and I reckon some of my pics are better than what some alleged 'professionals' can do...Originally Posted by NordieBoy

I'm into photography, but on the otherside of the lens.
For the IRD mostly.

Just on photography, In case any of you were wondering how we get the killer shots in Kiwi Rider? - Geoff Osborne's skill and cameras mainly (and others).
The shot of Gee off was on the Sprint ST shoot - I think this is only the middle size lens of 3. There is a matching number of high end bodies as well.
All cannons.
Lou Martin is the doyen of the Aussie MC press and he uses similar.
I feel somewhat priveledged to have been schnapped by both of them.
Gives us something to aspire too when you see the quality of their images.
Just added a Canon 300D to the list![]()
Now to find some nice (cheap) lenses for it![]()
