    RIP. Red lights, I hate 'em. Down here in CHCH all they mean to most drivers is speed up. I realise this is not the case here, but they probably scare me the most about riding on the road. Everytime you go through a green light, you're putting your life into the hands of a bulb. Scary.

    Always the worst news to hear. As I was riding out and about this morning I heard of the accident on the radio and thought it was a bit too close to home, I hoped it wasn't one of you!

    Family & friends have my sincere sympathies, whoever he/she is.

    Incident Type: Motor Vehicle Crash

    A 31 year old male motorcyclist was killed when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a Toyota 4WD motor vehicle.

    The Police Serious Crash Unit are investigating the collision. Witnesses to the collision should contact Constable James Asekona at the Avondale Police Station on Ph. 09 820 5752.
