    Day 2

Today I took the new beasty out on the roads I am familiar with. Up over Paekak Hill, over Haywards and over the Takas to Martinborough. And I am still smiling. Altho it is a tall bike, and a bit heavier than my old one, it handles the twisties really well. Cornering - despite the tall seat, I could hang out the side like a sprotbike, or sit up and throw the bars down like a trail bike. The tall riding posi means I can look over the top of cages and get a good view of the road ahead.Suspension soaked up all the rough bits and the roadworks at Kaitoke were treated with distain. A very comfortable ride. The power dials on very smoothly and there is enough of it to keep me happy. It was really windy in the Wairarapa and going over the 'Takas but I was barely being moved at all. This thing sits on the road really well. And the first time I did Kapiti - MB - Kapiti and not have to stop for gas
    Roll on next weekend!

Thanks for sharing, I know the feeling. You sound like you're loving it, how long will you be subjecting us all with this new affair of yours? You realise that more than half the readers of this are jealous of you!

    Congrats, nice bike mate
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods
