Broken bike. Broken pelvis. Not good. 'spose coulda been worse...thankful for small mercies an all that. Heal quick but heal properly.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

we presume the police are dealing with this as dangerous driving causing injury?

    That doesn't sound so bad.
I'd have thought you'd be bed ridden with a smashed pelvis. Obviously not.
    Take care anyway mate

    Well, hehe, whats to tell..

Thanks all for the get well wishes. Mum will be turning up in 2hrs to take me back to Wellington to heal up. The doctors gave me 6 weeks off work.

It sounds like the vtr will be written off, but I will have to wait for the paperwork to arrive from the insurance company, then wait for it to be sorted.

I have a "pubic ramus fracture" - I don't know much about terms, but one fracture on the left, two on the right, though they are down the bottom somewhere, so I didn't need a cast to keep it from falling appart. Not much pain if i sit quietly, but a reasonable amount if I try and walk.

    Cheers again guys and girls!

Sorry bud, the nurses liked the one of my genital piercings so much I think they put it in the staff room! Well they must have, with the amount of pointing I saw

I think it means your bollocks hit the tank so hard you cracked your pelvis in three places. I imagine your brain has decided to forget the incident ... for some reason.

So your saying ive squished me nuts? My voice hasnt changed!

I think the handlebars may have caught me as I went over, but all i remember is looking down and seeing the bike under me, then realising i was on the road. Im not sure if I blacked out or not, but quite a ride!
