Why not lay a complaint as we do and let another cop investigate?

    Cool

Mate, lay a complaint... and let the other police officers deal with it.
You can give an accurate account of what happened... as can all your witnesses..

She just about took out two people....... and that aint good at all.

Rest up and get well soon.
See you back on a bike real soon.

I will have to think about it.

I think the bike will be a write off to be honest, its insured for 4k and they will only repair up to 75% of the value and the damage is pretty bad (fairing 2800 (which leaves only $200 to fix the brake pedal and hand brake, straighten the bars and repaint the engine cowling thingee)

Im a little gutted as shes a 2002 done 8000k..got her for 3,900 dont think i will get that same deal. I will probably go to a CBR or ZXR next...need a new lid as well as thats not covered by the insurance and it got a fair whack...

It sucks so much having to use four wheels and not two
If it gets written off...you get your $4k minus excess...find out where it's being sold and buy it from the insurance company...leave the fairings looking like shit, fix the functional parts. You'll likely take another dive in the next two years.

It's sad that the first one happened so soon...but if it's a good bike, and most of the damage is cosmetic, then it might be economical to try this route.

Gutted mate, but at least you not in too bad a shape.
I know that feeling all too well when you get cut off. Happened to me 3 times yesterday (bus, some punk in a car failed to give way and a 4x4). Bloody cagers.
I'd have a go and see what you can get out of her, maybe she should make the claim on her insurance? but then again maybe not.
Good luck with it all anyway
