    I have a magazine article somewhere on a XT?XL 500 motor into a CB250RS rolling frame. easy enough apparently.

    I wonder if an XR650 motor is the same height? that has potential... pity CB250RS are so expensive.

    Early (pre RFVC) XR/XL 500's had basically the same engine mounts as the 250 so not really a problem apart from the extra height of the 500's head.
