Do I sell the Duke and get a TL?

Yep, what a dilemma. So what do people think? The TL happens to be in my favourate colour too. I was told quite firmly by a Holden salesman the other day that "women always buy on colour", how sexest is that? But true? I cant decide. But the TL IS beautiful. And I have a possible buyer for the Duke at a really good price.... If I get it TL Rider and I will have a lovely matching pair of bikes, there I go on looks again, what to do-

Ive only ridden the TL once, mainly due to the fact TL Rider has no interest in riding the Duke. The Duke is older, slower, and more expensive to maintain, for vertually a clean swap, if I get my price off the buyer. The TL is bigger, far more bike, the Duke can be a bit of work around town, and I must admit the dry clutch in neutral idling at the lights does sound like a tractor, BUT I do love it for what it is. BUT BUT BUT.........I have a hugh interest in the TL and the sound the TL makes over the Duke, just cant be compared, the TL sounds awesome. Ive almost convinced myself, but Im interested in everyones thoughts

Well personally.. I'd go for how I felt for the bike... impressions and the reasons of the why you like it.. far outweigh others.. but its all good.

I've always liked the Ducati sound.. but I must admit the TL sounds absolutely sexy.. haven't compared a Ducati or TL side by side though.... hmmmmmm

Having own Ducati's & riden TLs before I'd go for the TLs . Mainly for the fact that the 900ss was only a good bike at it's best & they are not that easy to ride fast & cost alot to keep going fast too . Have a good long ride again then make ya mind up & stick to it

Girl I'd go with the TL. I love ducati's but there are times when you have to taste the Jappas. Especially when you don't feel like maintaining the duke. If the TL is sounding better than the SS then your in trouble, love is blind or deaf. Buy the TL or see your doctor.

    ...totally agree
It's an older('94) Duc and hasn't got "it"...not old or new enough to keep if that makes sense. Nice bike but has no balls and a genuine lack of personality-in my opinion.
It'll happen if it does...I hope it does for Duc Gurl's sake!
