    What?!?
You still raving on about that ugly new bike of yours?
Actually, the VFR (piped, of course) does sound similar to a 996, what with the gear whine and all.
I still miss the sound of a 90-degree V-twin though (although it sounds different from the seat, which is where the VFR sounds better), and that bastage that rides his V-twin Whatever past the office every day at 8:45ish better find another route to work, because it's making me sad.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

when i ditched the r6 over coro there were 3 big vtwin thous that went past, could hear them from a mile off, was awesome. got my eye on a cheapish ducati, which if its still around next year i want to re-engine it with a 750 or 900. Otherwise i might save some coin once i got the R6 paid off and get an ex-japan 916 or similar!

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

916 is getting cheap now. The problem is running cost......

YOU ALWAYS STEAL MY IDEAS. GET LOST!

916 market has dropped out a little... going for 13k or so from Japan. Don't do it, i'm sick of switching 'possible next bikes'
