so now ill have to get out some touch up paint not to mention the inconveniance of not being able to ride it for like 3 weeks saw 9 buses today cut corners.....do none of them know how to drive?

Mate, with those pictures, I'd be talking to the bus company CEO about getting rid of those "scratches" before those pics get e-mailed to the paper or the cops. Point is, even if you don't want to get nasty and get the guy charged and that - you still want your minta bike back in minta condition. Even if it has shrunk.

    Mate that's not right!!!
Demand that it be put right - to the "exact same condition it was before it was run over". A 3 week old bike dosen't look like shit - and "you want it back to the same condition". If they refuse that, then you probably have a case for some compensation for loss of resale value, etc.

I'm not making any excuses for this bus driver. He/she needs some serous retraining, like starting from scratch with a learners licence.

You were lucky. Not many walk away after an accident with a bus.

As above. Tell the bastards that "as before you ran it over" is what you will settle for.
Was this the bus company or their insurance people?

You've got 48 hours to post that they are fixing the cosmetic damage.

Did they take the bike and return it after the repairs or did you have to arrange things?
At only three weeks old before the bus attack you would expect it back without a mark on it (sorry) Sounds like they are just trying to fob you off with the least they can get away with. Don't forget that you have a PR embarrassment for them (with photos)
They should be doing their best to keep you happy after one of their clowns nearly killed you.

Did you get the law involved - accident report etc?

absolutely !!, I know those bus drivers have tight schedules to stick to, but thats sheer laziness imo, and inexcusable. What if some dim-witted kid had been on a push bike at that same intersection, he'd be toast.
