Shite, I tell you blokes (and Gals) to be careful and you get pinged, sheesh!
Some days it's not even worth chewing through the restraints.

Ditto, but now I feel kinda responsible

The way you were talking I thought you might have known him, too tired to realise what happened until you replied to SpeedMedic.

Wow so now you support bike thieves, you really are a winner. Maybe if you had a bike worth stealing you might think differently.

Then he should probably wait until he finds out why the guy was doing a runner before spouting off on his angsty rebellious teenager anti establishment act. Although that is probably asking a bit much of him.

Must be the same cops that stopped me for speeding at the Mt Wellington turnoff just a few weeks back.

    So help me out here...

I see there was a couple of comments saying ha ha hope he gets away, outrun the cops, let him go etc...

And I see another comment reporting it's a stolen bike they were trying to stop (and recover). I am making the assumption that you guys would want him caught?

So which is it? (and please - no weasel words... straight answers would be good)

So to clarify - are you for or against the cops stopping stolen bikes?

Since then there has been a frenzy and all bikes are being looked at carefully. Evens ATTOMS are scanning the motorways and reporting back to units.

One bike was 'going quite quickly' towards East Tamaki, no units were close but they commented that it may have been a consolation prize for the bike that was missed earlier.

So keep your noses clean tonight, they are defintely not happy with us bikers.
Sounds like some sort of new "tag and release" policing system to me...
