Custom bikes are seriously cool. Unfortunately, 99% of them are choppers. While those that love them may love having their ass pounded, I like a bike that looks great and goes/stops and handles too.

So while there are some very interesting ideas in those bikes, handling like a prawn trawler brings them way down.

EDIT: No wait that is just a mini chopper. My true passion remains pure and un-tainted.

One like the top one for me!

But with a soft seat thanks.

Not so good for communting maybe but okay for rumbling through the 'hood.

OK, I happen to love American Chopper on discovery.

Some of the stuff they make is truly good looking. I just like the way you can make one however you like. I still want a chopper with a supercharged Hayabusa engine in it.

I want to learn how to weld and manipulate metal, can anyone point me in the right direction?

No, that takes time and money.

I want to get an Arc welder from Mitre 10 and start welding shit up, but that's probably the wrong way to go...

I love the way you're too hardcore for punctuation or grammar. But don't worry, it's all good, it doesn't matter!

Some of you guys are totally missing the point of choppers. They are objects of kinetic art. They are made to be one-offs, to show off and to pull birds.

Cornering is not what it's about, it's about the cruise. Sure if you want to corner hard go for a sprot bike.

But that's what I like about motorcycles - the differences. I love all bikes with character and something special about them, be it a Triumph Bonneville, HD WLA, Kwaka 636 or a Vulcan 800.

I reckon if you narrow your field of vision too much, you miss out on a lot of good shit. The same goes for my taste in music.
