No, I was responding to the "factory built" custom parts. If you don't make it yourself it's not a true custom. The only reason some of the shops are ok is because they allow the person ordering the bike say what goes on it and what it looks like. What thier downfall is, later on they wll remake a part of a certain bike and then keep making it till people stop buying it.Originally Posted by OMGWTFBBQ

Meh, there will always be cookie cutter choppers. (CCCs? Or what about people that want a Cookie-Cutter-Chopper, would they be CCCPs?)Originally Posted by Waylander
But yeah, for me, the reason why I like choppers is mainly the way they can be made to suit your personal tastes however you like. And plus I'm just interested in fabricating shit.
But I still think my point is valid. In NZ you just don't have the access to the parts that you need. Like engines, transmissions, ENORMOUS 300 SECTION REAR TYRES, and so forth.
Yes you do, you just have to really be in to choppers to know where to look. Upstairs at AMPS is one of the more well known places.Originally Posted by OMGWTFBBQ

for me it's more to look at the styling just those sleek lines are just like damn
the way the whole bike looks like it flows such clean lines and the way the orange one just looks plain sneaky all sorta hunched down with the headlight only slighty above the front wheel
everyone has there own tastes i guess
You do that .. well you can.Originally Posted by OMGWTFBBQ

Saw a fuckin wicked looking chop on my way home from work (bastards sent me home sick cause I happend to be coughing alot...) Nice lines to it, beautifull red and blue paintjob. Sounded like a shot gun going off in my ear when he reved it though, not a nice deep rumble like it should have been but if he likes it that way....
