How do you brake a bike on a toy run? Bugger. Never mind there will be other days.

Have not had a reply from our faster riders yet. Morepower was interested last week. Organising a ride is like herding cats around here. You get what you get
But as the weather is fine and warm we should have a few. If you want to come just arrive. You can always blast away and we can meet you up there. Look for the bike in my Avatar at the pumps in Bay View tomorrow if you want to come. Tis a very nice road to blast along but it pays to put the radar detector on. Specially if you advertise the ride.

Come on you lazy Hawkes Bay riders. Get out of bed and get to the BP Bay View by 10.30. Will be a nice ride. Last chance for a slow ride to Taupo so please bring the slow riders and the newbie's. Fast riders as well and you can get out and have a blast. Meet you there. The sun is out and it is 20 deg with dry warm roads. The road surface is like the top of a pool table. ( well almost ) Just do it...

    Thumbs up Great Ride.

Thank you Moderator for leaving this here. We had 8 bikes and it was a great ride. Strange thing how you advertise a ride and see 3 bacon cages in the first 20 km. I am sure your comments are not correct MSTRS. They did go out to get us. They did. They bloody did. But cos we are all good boys and girls they got no money. But they could have cos the bike with the L plate was doing 100 kmh and it went passed the drivers door of the last bacon cage. So heads up to that man or woman or what every was in it. Thanks people good ride.

Aye....'twere a good ride. And I stand by my comments, otherwise paranoia awaits. Whatever, we were smarter than them today..
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

MSTRS enjoyed his little sojourn today-have to admit to feeling jealous, however we did go for a somewhat shorter ride this avo-up into the hills, the obligatory stop at the Bayview etc,hXc was pillioning-great actually as I got him to park my bike for me! No sense in having a dog and barking yourself, I always say! Was a great ride and my skills are improving all the time-its amazing how much more enjoyable it is when the whole experience doesn't stress you to the max!!

Wooops.. My bad! and i thought i was a good little boy for sticking to 100, completely forgot about the plate. cheers to the bloke who frantically waved like a mad-man for us to slow down . Twas a good day out, quite pleased with how the little 250 managed to 'just' keep up.
    Thanks G4E.

We miss you young lady. We had plans of making this your "introduction to the big roads". Never mind we will get you out on the big roads when the other little problem is sorted. Very soon we hope. Was a very nice ride. I felt a little pent up when I got to the shingle car park, as I'm sure John told you. Only to get told off by speights_bud. Bloody kids.
K keep in touch and we will get you out soon.

No prob. We need to run a few more slow rides and get some of the "nonwarp" speed riders out on group rides

We left 10.45 and stopped at the Rangitaiki Lodge. We did not go to Taupo. Had a feed and left for home. So we would have been going the same way as you at 1.30. Saw a lot of bikes. What a good day for a ride. Will catch up with you some time.
