    There was a guy in West Auck who was as nice and fair as you could afford, but he's gone now.
    In reality, you can't choose the tester.

    I assume you mean to do your basic skills handling cert.?
    You start off with your Basic Skills handling certificate. Which caters for a range of people from those who've never ridden before to those who have a little experience;

    This covers the LTSA fee as well. And it's actually quite fun. Riding between the cones, stopping, riding around a bend. All done very carefully and under instruction.

    Then on to the AA to sit your learners. The cost is $39.30 + $39.70 for your learners. from there it's 'L' plates and through the rest of the process if you want to get your full lisence. Full legal info here;

    They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
    Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
    At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them

    Dude do your basic handling skills test with Lee Rusty. He's certified and a member of this site. His cell is 021 new rider.
    His courses run on Sundays from Otahuhu and he knows his stuff!

    Ring him...you will be pleasantly surprised at how affordable he is compared to the big guys.

    P.S. You then take that certificate you get from lee and book a scratch and win test at the AA place in Rosebank park. There is also an AA at Taka's.

    Any more info PM Lee or ring him!
    I've finished okay...there are no last words of wisdom...it's time to pull your pants up and go home!
