    ZXR250c Tings to look for

I am one of thsoe riders who loves to go pretty hard, i love wheelies (yes even on my little 250cc) and stoppies. However, i also like to keep the bike well maintained so that it lasts for manyt many years to come.
What are the key things to look out for, the bike would on average use get well warmed up before revving, never hit redline, but get right up to it, and probably once or twice each ride get a wheelie and stoppie.
I know basic stuff like oil and filter every 5 thou, and watch for leaking fork seals, chain and sprockets etc, what else can i keep an eye on to ensure longevity of my baby beast?
It is more like damage to the frame that i am worried about, and suspension damage.
Or am I being paranoid, and the thing is built to take this sort of riding?

I own a zxr250 for about a year now. Not reving until it's warm is a absolute must, and all the other things you said. every now and then you should check you brake pads and callipers for any signs, eg: if the brake pad is more worn on one end than the other this means that one of the pistons in the calliper is jamed. I got this on my 2 piston rear calliper and it went thru a set of pads sooo quikly, the good side wan't even half worn. Also check brake fluid, u dont wanna be doin stoppies with air in your brakes. another good thing to check is the cooling liquid, if the reservoir has plenty and if the coolant inside the radiator is still good. Fork seals can be a weakness in a zxr250 with high k's. That's all that comes to mind right now. yu don't really need to wory about frame unless you crash, and even then it's nothin, my bike tuk a 90 km/h crash and all it bkore was plastic, and the steering needed a small adjustment, nothing metal actualy broke exept for a screw on the exaust pipe.
that's my two cents worth anyway

if you are doing wheelies and stoppies .. watch the head bearings..they will give out eventually.. also.. a long wheelie will drain the oil away from the crankshaft so be aware of that..

Those are good points, didn't think about the head bearing. and also good oil flow.My wheelies are never THAT good, only 10 seconds max. Will have to check how the pads are doing sometime soon, they were getting lowish a few months back.

I keep blowin out the fork seals on my klx300r doing stoppies...so that might be something to watch out for?
