with the storm water separation happening here right now [and has been the last 4 or more years!] the roads are patchy as hell, what with the digging, filling and "sealing" with crappy seal and loose stonage. been riding the push bike last couple of days, and have remembered how shit the roads actually are for cyclists....all the loose stones get shoved into the gutter where they are left. surely the council or whoever could sweep up the excess?
