    re our mate

been a while since I updated on his condition, had his surgery to fix the broken bits and to do the skin grafts, yesterday all good, sitting up chatting and cracking jokes, nothing short of a miracle, have been passing the family all your comments and good wishes, as I have said before it has helped them heaps.

    thanks

Awesome news mate.... he sure is one tough F#@ker by the sounds of it....
Lump lingered last in line for brains,
And the ones she got were sort of rotten and insane...

Unless I'm greatly mistaken this fellows wife is a teacher at a smallish south Auckland school, and teaches my daughter. Lovely lass, and from what I could see at the school trip to the beach last week is bearing up remarkably well. I didn't get a chance to talk to her about her husband, (or anything else, controlling 50+ 6 and 7 yr olds is a full time job!), but I do wish her and her husband the very best.

Final update on a mate and brother firefighter

He's been sent home from Hospital, and now resting at home, , It will be a long time before he's back at work, but it's all good news.

I know I said it before, but thanks for all you messages of support.

It has been a great comfort to his family and mates(myself included)

    Thank you again.
