I watched an episode of that 'World Biker Buildoff' or something it's called...some guy in the American team was saying something along the lines of:

"You gotta have a real hard seat, y'know...it's not supposed to be comfortable...you see some of these guys on these choppers trying to be all bad-ass, but like, they've got these lounge chair kinda seats y'know...you gotta feel the pain to be a bad ass..."

So, sitting on a pointlessly uncomfortable seat means that you're a hard man...yeah, fark you're hard my oversize seppo friend.

Yep, your ass would be pretty bad after riding any distance on those things (apologies to Hitcher, but I cite mitigating circumstances... the desire to pun required it.)

I found the LS400 farking uncomfortable on long journeys and it looks like it had a comfier seat than those.

I will accept that they do look interesting and I quite like the look of some of them. Not enough to buy one tho'.

No becouse a handbag is something enyone else can own one that is simaler. REAL choppers are one-ofs, no one else can have one like it. And the best ones are hand built by the owner. But for those that don't have the know-how or time some shops can do good ones too. As long as they don't use producton line sheetmetal, frame, and rims from other shops or factories.

Who ever said Choppers had to be built out of american parts? know a guy who takes Sportsbikes and makes them into choppers. I've aso seen soe wicked looking Triumph choppers. Itallian, French, German, Russian, doesn't matter.They build to what they like and each one is indivdual and not lke another.
