Moped rider
I'm looking for a bike suitable for my lady to learn to ride on. It's gotta be low and slow 'cos she's short and scared. I'm thinking maybe something like a Honda CB125 or similar. She likes the cruiser style which would suit her short legs. Oh yeah and it's gotta be cheap 'cos it's probably gonna get a little damaged what with her and her two boys learning on it. Get back if you have any suggestions or maybe something sitting in the shed you wanna get rid of.

Yamaha VIRAGO 250cc.... is a cruiser....
and its very low for those that are short (like me 4' 12") and I have no trouble riding the Virago.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
my own fault really.

I'm thinking 250 might be a bit much to start on for someone who's only experience to date involves losing control of a Pusch, did I spell that right? Cheap? maybe in the $500 to $1000 range? Dunno really just have to consider each offer on it's merits. I'd quite like to get something i can play with and tidy up in my spare time, ha ha ha. spare time? whats that?

GN250/GN125 (both in your price range), Viragos I dunno prices, Older CB125s would also work if you can find one, they are cheap. CB125T has an indestructible motor, and is nice and small and light.....

If you take the GN for a spin, sit on the back seat. Otherwise your elbows will be sitting on your knees. Unless you happen to be shorter than 5'6"...

Just a quick note to bring this back up the list 'cos I'm still looking for a bike for my other half to learn on. Ideally a 125 of some sort but maybe a 250, just depends what turns up.
