I'm a rank noob here and still haven't met any fellow KBrs yet (me bikey not worky righty ... and work and exams ...)

I joined when I started looking for a bike and came across the Online trading section ... I've stuck around because I like the witty banter and conversations that go on here (I just ignore the flame wars).

I also like learning new things and I've found this site fantastic for learning new things re biking (The other day I learnt about the bikes power band)

    Instant friends just add motorcycle?
I liked that as soon as I posted 'hey its me', I got invited to a ride and green rep (yummy). It also gave me the confidence to walk up to a motorcyclist almost anywhere and start a conversation. v-cool.

The fact that it is the largest group of bikers I have ever been involved with since getting my wheels in the first place. Love that at any given point there will be a ride happening that I can just show up at. And if there isn't a ride, I can just start one and others will show up.

I DID try, honest, I tried!

Like also the fact that it's not JUST motorbikes discussed on this site.

I've found the humorous banter totally addictive and logon whenever Im home. Although I'm still a noob I'm no longer a KB ride Virgin! Today was my first Coro Loop. Thanks Tristank for organising a wicked ride, and sorry you couldnt make it HDTboy. I hope to do loads more rides and with time make some lasting friendships.
About 20 years ago I tried to join a club and was rejected for only having 400CC's Now here is a cool bunch of people who dont judge you for what you ride and I kinda like that. I also like the silly smilies not to mention the meetings and events
Thanks Spankme and everyone on here for a wicked site.

The insanity. And the nutters. And the thoughtfull and insightful philosophical debate. And the bikes

EDIT: Not a PT. I like the wide variety of people and the way that a bantering thread about beer or sex is balanced by a serious social or technical discussion on the next thread - and the wide variety of expertise on the site. I can't be human then, because all humans are strange to me.

    Except Motorcyclists.

I was just after riding buddies after an extended lay off from bikes. I got a lot more than I bargained for.

It's all Mangell6's fault too, so if you have any issues with me, take it up with him.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
