    MotoX boots on sportsbikes?

Ive kinda thought about this a couple of times when I have found myself admiring a pair of MotoX boots wondering where the toe-sliders are...

Would you/do you wear MotoX boots on a sports bike?

They seem fair well armoured and reasonably suitable for the task. Perhaps they are a bit bulky? Not everyone needs toe-sliders...

Waterproof-ness is an issue aswell perhaps.

If you've got big feet, moto-X boots are a total arse on a road bike.

Not all armoured road boots have toe sliders. Go look.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Sure. Touring boots tend to not have them (like mine)...

i sometimes wear my mx boots (white foxes) just because the look soooooooo good.
you loose alot of movement though, i used them on my crm (road/dirt bike) and its was hard to go up gears and put your foot down at lights...ild hate to think what it would be like on a sports bike....

I imagine they are a fair bit heavier than the standard issue sports-bike boot too. Bigger toe etc?
I rode in my 'shiny black going-out shoes' yesterday and ended up going home to changing into my touring boots (Dri-Riders). The chunky soles and big toe made it VERY hard to ride my bike.

Some of the Sidi adventure boots, which are motox style buckle ups, are some of the sexiest boots Ive seen. Motox don't give enough flexibility on the foot to ride well though, you often have to shift position to change gear, which is a bum.

I don't ride sports bikes, but I've worn dirt boots on road for 25 years. These days I wear my Gaerne Balance trials boots, they are lighter and more flexable than an MX boot and have a grippier sole.....road boots feel like carpet slippers to me,so light and flimsy....you'd never get me wearing them on the street.

MotoX boots are just that. They are for riding MotoX. I would never wear a set on any road going bike as they just look too bulky and uncomfortable than what I would normally wear. Besides, I would look like a farking idiot in leathers and big bloody MX boots.

    Thats my opinion.
